My Story

Who am I

Since I began my student career, I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to collaborate on some exciting solo and collaborative projects. Sociology has a special place in my heart and I have learned of its importance in everyday life and relationships. I hope to further develop my skills in qualitative research and explore new research methods. I take pride in all that I do and in the long-term relationships I’ve fostered in the process. I firmly believe that hard work eventually pays off, and I know that each day brings me closer to reaching my goals.

Academic Experience

I like to think of myself as a student of life, I never want to stop learning. Some lessons are learned in the traditional way, while others are received from professional mentors, industry professionals and in some cases, friends and family. Some of my favorite classes I had for my degree were: Qualitative Research Methods, Food and Society and Men, Women and Societies.

What I’ve Done

Internship Experience

I have had the opportunity to intern for The A List, a staffing company and personal recruitment firm. The A List has been placing professionals in some of the most desirable places to work in Austin for the past 40 years. It prides itself on excellent service for their clients and candidates. Every day I’m constantly taking on new and interesting projects that help me build my personal brand. From marketing, data entry and customer service, each experience I’ve had has taught me a lot about the recruitment world.
